3 Months Old!!
Our sweet baby Chandlar turned 3 months old on Monday. She is such a bundle of joy. I thought I would take some pictures of some of her favorite things to do...
She loves her mobile toy that she can lay under. She will play with this forever. Its so fun to see her try to reach the toys and rattle them.
She also likes to sit in her jumper chair and watch her mom do stuff around the house. She is constantly kicking her legs to make the thing move, and she smiles and laughs while she does it. She gets a real "kick" out of it.
She is so fun to be around. Everyday she puts a smile on our face. She is growing up way too fast, but then again, I love to see how much she has learned while being here on earth for such a short time. Its amazing how fast they catch onto things. I can't wait for the next stage in her life. We LOVE you Chandlar!! ;)

Pictures
Last Saturday we were able to take some family pictures at the mall in JC Penny's. I came across a coupon and decided to have some pictures taken of Chandlar in her blessing dress and a couple of our little family. For the most part Chandlar did really well, but it was so crazy busy that it really wasn't worth the time or the price(even with the coupon),but we went a head a got them done. I was kinda surprised how well they turned out, but I think next year we'll just stick to having someone we know take them.

Quick Update
I know that I have been slacking on updating my blog. Nothing to amazing is happening with our little family, but we sure have been busy. I wanted to post a quick update on how we are all doing.Skylar is busy working at Grand Canyon University and is doing well for the most part. Right now he's not going to school, but wishes that he could. With the way his work schedule works out it doesn't give him much time to do anything. He works so hard to provide for his family, and I'm very grateful for that, so I can stay home with our little one. He can't wait to have his office move to a closer location in Tempe. ( neither can I) It's going to be so nice to have him closer. As for me I am keeping busy being a stay at home mom. Chandlar is always making sure that I'm doing my job of taking care of her. I guess I don't realize how much work a little infant is until you have one of your own. In my spare time, if I have any at all... I still enjoy my little crafts and stamping time. Its so fun to just relax and do something that I enjoy. Chandlar is growing up so fast. She will be 3 months on the 29th. I cannot believe its been that long already. She has been such a joy for Skylar and I. Its so amazing how such a little person can make you feel so good. For the most part she is a good baby. She sleeps and eats really well, the doc says she's in the 90th percentile in both her height and weight, so i guess thats pretty good. She is a healthy and happy baby. Always has a smile on her face. I just love her to death. We recently put an offer on a house that we are interest in buying, so that is kinda exciting for us. It will be so fun to have a home of our own to build family traditions and make many memories. We will find out tomorrow or so if the banks accepts our offer. I will let you all know how that goes once we hear back. Also with the holidays being here, Skylar and I have had a chance to be with our family. Thanksgiving was fun as usual, we had our Webb family traditional dune trip. Lots of great times that will never be forgotten. Something always funny happens when we go there. As for the Godfrey side we had a little Christmas party on Monday night. It's been the first time in 2 years for all the kids to be together. It was fun to sit and visit and eat great food. You never will go hungry while you are around them. I love how much they get into the holiday spirit. I have some pictures of the great time we had, but I'll have to post them later when I actually download them onto my computer. All in all we are doing great. Life has been so good to us and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We are looking forward to spending more time with family and hopefully having a home of our own.

So Much to be Thankful For.
Today as I have been about my business I have realized that I have so much to be thankful for.
1. I'm so thankful to have such a great husband. He does so much for our little family. He works so hard so I can stay home with our little one. Thanks Sky... I love you. :)
2. I'm so grateful to have such a beautiful daughter. She brings so much joy into our family. Even when she cry's, I just can't get enough of her. I love to watch her learn and grow. Its amazing how fast they grow up. She's getting to where she smiles a lot more often. I absolutely love it. These pics are a little blurry but I had to share.

3. I am so thankful that I have such a great family. They are all so good to me and I appreciate all that they do for me. I can honestly say that all five of my sisters are my best friends. I was thinking the other day how wierd it is to have a totally different relationships with your siblings when you get older. I love it.
4. I am thankful to have the gospel in my life. With the world how it is today, there is nothing more great to know where and how I am suppose to live my life. It is such a great comfort to know that the gospel will always be here. It will always be the same not matter what goes on with the rest of the world.
5. Last but not least. I am grateful to have the parents I have. Even though I might not tell them this all the time, but I'm so glad how well they have raised me. Because of them.. I am who I am today. I look back and appreciate how they were with me as a kid, and I hope that I can do the same with my own. Thank you so much.
Well... there you have it. Just some thought that I've had. I'm sure the list can go on and on, but these are the things I treasure the most. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

How long have you been married? 3 years
What does he do that surprises you? When he comes home from work earlier then what I expect.
What is your favorite feature of his? He has the perfect nose, and I love it when he grows his scruff. Oh, I like how soft his ears are.. He hates it when I play with them.. lol :)
What is your favorite quality of his? I love how helpful he is around the house. He cooks, cleans and does everything else, just as much as I do. I also like that he knows how to fix things with our car when something breaks.
Does he have a Nickname for you? Um, well let me see here.... "bab", "fat belly girl", "whopper", "chaquille",and the list goes on and on.... It's hilarious, I love you sky. ( and by the way none of these names bother me! Most of the names are inside jokes.)
What is his favorite color? Don't really know. Maybe "Sky" blue???
What is his favorite food? I'm gonna say steak, but he's kinda picky when it comes to food. He has to be in the mood for a particular food.
What is his favorite sport? He likes to play softball, but on t.v he likes to watch baseball and basketball.
When and where was your first kiss? During the summer of 2005 in my apartment...I actually kissed him first. It was kinda a bet I had with my roomate... ( he knows the story)
Favorite thing to do as a couple? we like to go out to eat, or just hang out at home watching a movie we rented. We like to go up to snowflake/ lakeside a lot too!!
Do you have any children? Yes, one little pretty girl, Chandlar Rae :0)
Does he have a hidden talent? He always remembers a lot of things that i don't.
How old is he? 25
Who said I love you first? I'm not sure... i think it was a mutrual thing.
What is his favorite type of music? country
What do you admire most about him? The thing I admire most is that he is always willing to serve anyone who crosses his path. He'll take the shirt off his back for anyone. He has taught me a lot in this aspect of life.
Do you think he will read this? yeah
I'm going to tag my sisters: Jessie, Holly and Sarah.

.Sweet Baby Chandlar.
So I finally have some time on my hands to post a little something about our precious baby. Chandlar Rae is exactly one week old today. I never realized how much fun it would be to have her finally here. She is such a pleasure, and Skylar and I can't get enough of her sweet spirit. I love being a mom and knowing that she is all mine. Its such a great experience to go through something like giving birth. Words cannnot explain the emotion.
Skylar has been nothing but generous to both me and the baby. He does everything he can to help out. I love my husband and I couldn't do it without him. I love watching how sweet he is to Chandlar. Its so cute how he holds and talks to her.
As for Chandlar.. her specialities are eating sleeping and pooping. She is such a good baby and I'm very thankful for that. I'm also glad how healthly she is. I was very surprised to find out that she was a 7 pound baby. I'm so excited to watch her grow and learn new things. My life will never be the same, but I can't imagine it with out her. I'll be sure to keep you all posted on how we are doing. Thanks for all of you who care about us and for those who have done so much for our little family.

ITS A GIRL!!!......
Ok I know that a lot of you are anxious to know about our baby so I am going to tell but remember this is usually Chanells job so no guarantees!!! Chandlar Rae Godfrey was born on Monday September 29th 2008 at 7:29 am. She weighed 7lbs 14oz and is 20 inches long. As you can see from the picture she has tons of dark curly hair and we love it!! Chanells labor at the hospital was about 10 hours, not to mention the labor she was in all day before we went to the hospital (I guess thats what happens when your water breaks and you don't go to the hospital until 6 hours later:) but we didn't know that it had broken so we are innocent:) Chanell and Chandlar are doing GREAT!! We are happy to be home today where it is much more comfortable but I will have to admit that the staff at Banner Gateway Medical Center were all amazing and really made us comfortable and our stay there was pleasant. Well this is all for now, once Chanell gets some rest I am sure she will delete my boring post and give everyone all the details

Big Disappointment :(
As most of you know I'm getting close to having my baby. My due date is on Monday ( Sept 29). Yesterday, Skylar and I went to the doctor hoping that there would be a little progress. Much to our disappointment nothing has changed at all. I still haven't dilated and I have only effaced a little. The Doc was surprise as well to see that the little rascal wasn't ready. He didn't seem too concerned, but if I still don't have any progress next appointment he'll schedule me to be induced. I really hope that nature will take its course and I won't have to go through the induction. I've been so ready for this pregnancy to be over, and I hope things will go well. I know that Heavenly Father is watching over me, and I know he knows whats best. Lets just hope something happens real soon. I guess you never know.....things could happen real quickly. I could be in labor tonight and have her in no time. But I guess we'll see what happens. Hopefully next time I post something I'll have some good news to write about and a new little addition that we have long been waiting for.

! CELEBRATE !
I had a baby shower that my sister Jessie put together for me on Saturday. It was so much fun to see all my friends and family there. Thanks to all who were able to make it and to those who couldn't but still gave me a gift. I appreciate it. I am very grateful for all the gifts I received. Its going to be so much fun to use them on our bundle of joy, who will hopefully be here soon. I'm 38 weeks today and counting down. I have a doctors appointment on Wednesday, so hopefully He'll tell me that I'm at least dilated. The last two appointments there hasn't been any kind of progress (other than that I'm beginning to soften) so I'm hoping for some good news this week. I'll let you all know if there is any sign of me having this baby any time soon. I'm beginning to think that I'll be pregnant forever. : [

Woods Canyon Lake
A couple of Saturdays ago Skylar and I met up with our friends, Jason and Emily & David and Traci for a fun and relaxing time at Woods Canyon Lake. It was so much fun to be with friends and get away from the heat of the valley. Skylar and I woke up early to drive to Christopher's creek to meet up with our friends. From there we went and had a nice picnic by woods canyon lake. Later that night we enjoyed each others company by playing games, cooking some steak and eating some yummy desert at Traci's cabin. It was a fantastic day and we are so grateful that they invited us. I can't believe all the amazing things we can do here in good ole Arizona!!

Happy 25th and Other Things!!
Other than Skylar's birhtday I am happy to annouce that I am finally 32 weeks a long, so that means I only have about 8 weeks to go. I can't believe how fast it has gone by. Skylar and I are both waiting very anxiously for the big day to happen. I think I am lot more nervous than Skylar for obvious reason, but it will be over before I know it. We have began our collection of baby things and have been very lucky to get our big purchases for a very great deal. It's been a lot of fun getting things together. Anyway, I just wanted to post this for people who were wondering how things have been. I'm hanging in there and getting things done as best as I can. I have to admit... its been a lot of fun experiencing this whole thing we call pregnancy.

Welcome Home Anthon!!
On Thursday July 10th Skylar's little brother returned home from is mission in New York. It was so exciting to be at the airport with the family to welcome him home. It was a great experience. After his arrival we went and ate some mexican food, swam and had a good time catching up with Anthon. It is so neat to see how much he had grown up from his experience as a missionary. The next day we drove up to Snowflake to spend more time with him and the family and had the chance to hear him speak in sacrament meeting. What a great time we all had. We are so grateful that he was able to serve a mission and that he is finally home. Welcome Home Anthon, we love you!!!

Its A Girl!!!
Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment to find out what I was having. All along I had a feeling that I was going to have a girl and sure enough it was a GIRL!!! Both Skylar and I are thrilled to have a girl as our first child. We are so excited that we will be parents soon. So great job to all of you who voted on me having a girl. It was so neat to see how many people participated. I feel so blessed to know that my baby is healthy and everything is growing accordingly.

Baby oh Baby !!
At 16 and a half weeks pregnant I had the chance to have a visit with my doctor yesterday. It was one exciting day for both Skylar and I. I had the privilege to have my first ultra sound at that time. It was so amazing to see this little human being growing and progressing inside of me. It was so awesome. Finally for the first time of my pregnancy I actually felt that I was really pregnant. We saw the heart beat and the little thing moving around like crazy. Its was something else to see how active it was. The Doc said I was far enough along to see what I was going to have but the baby's legs were crossed, so he really couldn't see anything. But next month on May 15th, at my 20 week appointment he is for sure we will be able to know what we are having. Skylar and I are so excited to find out. I'm so glad to know that my baby is healthy and every thing is normal. I'm going to have a poll so if anyone wants to make a guess of what we are having you are more than welcome to. Well here it is.... our most prize possession !!

Fun in the Sun
Once again my family was off to the sand dun
es for the easter holiday. We had tons of fun and lots of excitement this time around.
#1. Well to start we arrived at the dunes last Wednesday, and as we got there my mom had realized that she had forgotten some groceries that we needed for out time out there. So the next day they were off into town buying things that we needed. We are lucky that Yuma is only about 30 minutes away. We rarely have to go into to town that soon, but we ended up having to.
#2.Next, my dad was on his first sand rail ride of the whole trip and he came back with the back of the passenger seat melted, his tail light melted on the same side and the carborator burnt to a crisp. My dad's engine had caught on fire, but luckily my dad is smart and knew what to do to get it out in a quick manner. It scared him half to death though. It was pretty funny but scary at the same time. Good thing no one was with him. The next time he went on a ride he had a fire extinguisher taped to his rail. We all got a kick out of that.
#3.The next order of buissness is again when all of our camp went out on a ride, my dad had came back with a bented tire rim and the rail my brother in law was driving had the tail pipe totally bent in half. My dad and Clay had a little accident, Clay got stuck in a rut, which is called a witches eye and my dad didn't see him and ran right into him. No one was hurt, but once again they had to spend the afternoon repairing it.
#4. My other brother in law, Nate and his older daughter were on our twister ( a glorified go cart) and got stranded in the desert for at least an hour or more and all the sudden we see them walking up to camp out from the middle of no where. I guess they shut the twister off and could'nt get it started again, so they decided to walk back to camp. Poor Addisyn was in tears by the time they arrived. I would have been scared too. My BiL was able to show my dad where it was at and by the time they got there it started right up and drove it back. What a fiasco!!
#5. Last but not least, all the adults in our camp had to play referee the whole time with the two 3 year olds neices that were with us. I'm sure they love each other but one always wanted what the other one had. We had to teach them a lot about sharing and not beating each other up. They are both cute, but talk about a big power trip with both of them together. Then we had a 9 month old who only wanted her mom. Poor Sarah, we helped her out with that one as much as we could. She is still adorable and did okay for the most part. Wow little girls can have an attitude. Most of the time it was hilarious. Good thing we had our little nephew Nolan who was pretty much the calmest one there. I didn't realize tel this trip that girls need to know how to chill.
Anyway it was one eventful trip but it was a blast at the same time. I'm so glad that Sarah, Clay and their girls were able to go with us. It was fun to have half of the family with us. Can't wait to see what the next trip brings. It will be interesting. But I'm sure nothing can top that excitement in one trip.

UPDATE!!
Well I finally had some free time to sit down and update our blog. So many things have changed and happen since the last time I posted anything. As many of you know Skylar and I have moved back to Arizona. There are a lot of things that made us feel like moving back was the right thing to do. So we have been back here for about a month now. It really has been an answer to our prays to be back here. For the time we were in Idaho, Skylar and I have been wanting to start a family but we felt like our lives weren't in the position to do so, but we knew that we didn't want to wait very much longer. So the funny thing is as soon and we made our final decision to move back a week later I found out that I was pregnant!!! I guess you can say that the Lord works in mysterious ways. As for that we are so glad to be back close to our families. We have also been blessed to find ourselves jobs so quickly. I have been working for an after school program and have been enjoying my new work schedule. Its been so nice for me to be home during the day. As for Skylar he got a really good job working at Grand Canyon University as an enrollment counselor. He will also have the privilege to go to their ground campus for his schooling at no cost. This has been a big blessing because once I have the baby I won't have to work anymore and Skylar will still get his schooling done. We are so excited for our up coming arrival. We know it will be a big change for both of us, but we are ready for the next step in our lives. Fortunately I haven't been too sick, but I can definitely feel that my body is constantly changing. I am about 9 weeks along so I'm due sometime in the beginning of October. It's been a life changing experience and we can not wait for many more things to come.
