Halloween

This was Chandlar's first official Halloween!!! We were awful parents and had only one good picture that Skylar took with his phone. But hopefully I will receive the ones my sister took. We had a great Halloween. I thought that Chandlar was adorable dressed up as Eeyore. We really didn't let her go trick or treating since she can't quite walk fully on her own and because of the fact that she really doesn't know any better. So less I had to worry about. HA! Anyway. We visited with one of my sisters who wanted to see Chandlar all dressed up and another sister was nice enough to let us walk around with her kids as they went trick or treating. Thanks Jessie, hope we didn't invade too much. Chandlar loved seeing all the kids walking around in their costumes. It was such a nice night to be out. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully next year we will have more exciting things to post about. Hope everyone had a good one. GOODBYE Halloween......HELLO to the HOLIDAYS!!

4 Happy Years!!

Today is Skylar and I's 4 year Anniversary. I can't believe it has been that long and I couldn't be any happier. I am truly blessed to be married to such a great person who takes care of me and supports me in all aspects of my life. I am also blessed to be a part of the Gospel that makes it possible to be sealed to him and my family for All Time and Eternity. I know that God lives and loves me and I know that He is so proud of the decision I made to have Skylar be my eternal companion. Life has brought us many experiences and I am happy to go through those with him. We often have conversations of the things that we have done it the past 4 years and all we do is laugh together and remember all the fun times we have had. I am looking forward to build many more memories with him. He is the greatest and I wouldn't ask for anything more. I love you! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Some of my Favorite Engagement Photos

Chandlar's 1st Birthday!!

Today is Chandlar's birthday!! I can't believe that a whole year has past already. I can still remember crystal clear how my day went when I was in labor with Chandlar. ( I don't think I really every told my labor story.) It was such an emotional day and to this day I am very thankful that I had a successful 10 hour labor. Its was pretty scary at first because I was having hard and steady contractions but was not even dilated to a 1. My doc was a little concerned but told me to get plenty of rest and have some "intimate time" with my husband.. Well, we took that advice and before we knew it my water had broken. But me being a little stubborn... waited a good 7 hours before I was admitted to the hospital. They checked me in and sure enough my "water had ruptured". ( thats how the english nurse told us.) So she preceded to check my dilation and lo and behold... I was maybe 1/2 dilated. At this point I was pretty much frustrated but since my water broke they kept me at the hospital and put me on pitocin. From then on my contraction got harder and harder, which I thought I was going to die at one point, but it progressed me to a 3. After a 3 they went ahead and gave me the epidural. I was pretty amazing how fast everything went from then on.... in 3 hours I went to a 6 and and in 3 more I was fully dilated and started to push. I only pushed for 30 mins and she was here. It was such an amazing feeling to finally have her in my arms. I was truly blessed that she got here with no complications. And now she is here to stay... She has been such a joy in the last year. I love watching her grow and learn new things everyday. She is the best thing on earth and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I am looking forward to many more memories with her and can't wait for her next birthday!! We love you Chandlar Rae!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Labor Day Fun

Labor Day was so much fun this year. We had a good ole time in Snowflake once again. Lots of softball watching, family and friend time, staying up late, eating good food, nice weather, and last but not least celebrating birthdays. The birthday party is the only thing I caught on camera, but i guess its better than nothing. The party was a blast, and thank you Heather for letting us come and stay with you. I love my family and friends!!

Girl Talk!!

It amazes me how much this little girl catches onto things. I guess mom spends a little too much time on the telephone, but honestly I don't. Maybe she gets it from her dad!! ha! She is just loads of fun and I love her to death. So I guess its time to give a little update on Chandlar. She is is 11 months old which means her BIG day is just right around the corner. Gosh, I can't believe I will have a one year old at the end of next month. I'm sure she will be spoiled rotten on that day, but its okay because you only turn 1 once right?. haha. Anyway by now Chandlar has 4 teeth plus one more that I can see that is trying to cut through. She crawls like a mad women and can pull herself up onto things. I think walking is in her near future! (go figure). She says "mama" and "dada" and I'm pretty sure she knows what it means. She likes to play patty-cake, peek-a-boo, and believe it or not hide and go seek with her dad. Its really hilarious! Skylar will go hide and she crawls around everywhere trying to find him. She is a happy baby and very active, always wants to be where the action is. I just love this girl. I know there is probably a lot more things she can do but I can't seem to think of anything else. She is our pride and joy and we look forward spending eternity with her! I feel truly blessed to have her in my life.

So Much to Blog..... So Little Pictures.

I have all the intention to blog about how our summer is going, but I always seem to forget that I even have a camera. We have had a pretty fun summer so far, and the excitement just keeps getting better. But there are really no pictures to prove it. I am such a horrible picture taker and I know that I need to be better at it. Because later I always regret that I have no new pictures to post or even to scrapbook. Here is my story..... on the 4th of July, Skylar played in a softball tournament in Snowflake. Their team did awesome and everyone had a good time. But I had no motivation to take any PICTURES. A couple weeks later we were up in Snowflake again for all the the Pioneer Day festivities. The parade and all the friends and family time was lots of fun. Did we take any PICTURES you ask?? Well yeah.. a few but NOTHING worth posting. And then I had the chance to stay up at my parents for a few days last week and there sat my camera wrapped up in his little bag...yep you got it.... I didn't take any PICTURES. It was a fabulous time in good ole Lakeside, I loved the weather and I loved the time I got to spend with my family. Chandlar had loads of fun with all of her cousins but I am sure she wont remember because I have no PICTURES of how cute and happy she was to be around everyone. Well I guess the moral of the story is next time I go somewhere I just need to break the camera out and start taking pictures. I know there is much more fun to come, I just need to catch it on film. For instance..... a family reunion and Skylar's birthday. So I hope you all can stay tuned because I promise there will be something that is worth your time. Hope you are all having a great summer..... I know that I am, I just need to capture the dang MEMORIES.

9 months/ Bath Time

Chandlar loves her bath time. I just had to post these cute pictures of her while Skylar was giving her a bath. I can't believe she is already 9 months. I took her to the Doctor last Wednesday for her well check. Here are her stats : Weight: 19lbs 53% Height: 28.5 in. 81% Head Cir: 17.5 in. 66% I guess you can say that she is a well average girl. I am so blessed to have such a healthy and happy baby. The doctor couldn't believe how social she is. She just loves everyone. I'm so glad that she is not afraid of anyone or anything. We love her to peices. Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July. We had a great time spending our time in Snowflake. I am a little bummed that I didn't take any pictures of our activities. But I know my friend did. So when I can recieve those pics I will be more than happy to show you what we were up to. Well I hope all is well with everyone. Thank you for the time that you take to check on how our little family is doing. We are happy as ever. We love you all!
