Where's My Motivation???

( This is more a journal entry than anything.....but feel free to read) That is how I have been feeling now for the past 4 weeks. I can't seem to find all the motivation that I use to have before I started to grow a little bun in the oven. I don't remember being so down or sick with Chandlar. I am hoping that as the weeks go by that I will just keep getting better and better. I have come to the conclusion that maybe I need to be better at planning out my day and accomplishing something each week. Whether its serving someone or doing a simple task such as cleaning out a closet it will make me feel better rather than thinking about myself and how awful I have been feeling. So with that said here are some list of things that I can work on. Hopefully by writing them down it will give me the motivation to accomplish things even if its the simplest task. So here I go.... wish me luck!! First things first, I know if I start my day off with a little prayer and scripture reading it will make my day even better.
  • Wake up at a decent hour in the morning, pray and read scriptures
  • Walk or exercise each day
  • Keep up with the laundry and daily house cleaning
  • Spend some time playing with Chandlar
  • Visit friends and family
  • Organize closet space (chandlar's room)
  • Work on Chandlar's scrapbook
  • Learn a new hobby
  • Work on 3 month supply and food storage
  • Decorate my home
  • Read the Ensign
  • Organize bills and don't forget to PAY on time
  • Come up with a menu for dinner each month
  • Spend time with Skylar
  • Get out of the house and do something that I enjoy
  • Visit Teach each month/ work on ward calling
  • Make and finish unfinished crafts
  • Add more things once I think of some ;)

Spring Flings

Here are a few slide shows to show you what we have been up to so far this spring. Back in the March Chandlar and I went to my families annual dune trip while Skylar ventured his way to cottonwood to play some ball with the buddies. Then a couple weeks ago we took the LONG trip to the Wildlife World zoo with Skylar's sister and her family. We all had a blast and we are loving this nice spring weather. Hopefully it will stay around so we can have more fun out in the sun. Hope everyone is enjoying their spring!! The Wildlife World Zoo

YES.....

Its True Here Comes Baby # 2 !!! My approximate due date is November 11th. Today I went to the doc and sure enough I am pregnant! Skylar and I are so happy and excited about it. When my doctor did the ultrasound on me I was only measuring 8 weeks which I thought was kinda odd because according to my last cycle I was suppose to be at about 9.5 weeks. Which is not really a big deal at all. He mentioned to me that I probably just ovulated a little bit later than usual. So I am fine with the results and I couldn't be any more happier. I have a picture here just to prove that it is really happening and that I am not making all my sickness up. I know it just looks like a blob right now, but I still wanted to share. Soon enough we will be able to tell what it actually looks like. Can't wait to share more. I'll try to keep things updated! Happy Blogging :)

Out with the Old in with the New!!

I've been meaning to post these pictures for a while. A couple of weeks ago we had the privilege to upgrade our flooring in our family room and kitchen, due to some unfortunate mishaps (see last post). But Honestly I am beginning to think it has been a blessing in disguise. When we moved in to the house we knew we wanted to change it eventually but I never thought it would be this soon, but I'm glad we had the resources to do it. It's funny how when bad things happen there is always going to be a brighter side of things. Its been great and I couldn't be any more grateful for the things that have happened to be miraculously placed in our hands. I just know that the Lord does watch over us no matter what the problem might be and that he always, in return takes care of us. With that said... I need to remember that more often when I am having a bad day or when things don't turn out the I you want them to. Hope you all will enjoy. Thanks again for stopping by our little ol' blog. :)

Too Cute for Words.

I had to post these of Chandlar. She is so cute these days and I can't believe she will be 18 months old at the end of the month. Words cannot express how much love this little girl has. She is so friendly towards anyone...even strangers as a matter of fact. Her vocabulary is coming along nicely and she gibber gabbers to herself all the time. I will probably have the run for my money when I can actually understand all those words that come out. She has been such a blessing who teaches me new things everyday. She is seriously my best friend, I'm so glad I'm her mom!

Reasons Why....

You should change your washer hose every 5 years! 1.
2.Luandry Room 3. Thrid Bedroom 4. Bathroom
(Can't really tell but the bathroom has water all the way up to the baseboards)
5.Chandlar's Room 6. Chandlar's Room 7. Living Room 8.Living Room 9. Kitchen/ Family Room Yep, thats right we had a flood due to the fact that our washing machine hose has not been changed in who knows how long. When we moved into our house (almost a year ago)we had no washer and dryer, but my parents were gracious enough to find us a FREE older washer and dryer that had been stored in an old warehouse. We were smart enough to clean them up and replace everything else but the hoses. Don't know how we missed that, but we did. Anyway, we had a pretty big mess that left us homeless for a couple of days. Thanks to the 1-800 Flooded guys they were able to come out and get the place dried up for us.We had to make an insurance claim because our carpet and baseboard were pretty much swamped with water. I know the pictures don't do any justice, but I wanted to post to let you all know what we've been up to, and of course to be able to look back and laugh about all the joys or hardships that come along with owning a home.
