Here's a quick recap of how our month of May is going.....
We've resorted to playing more inside than outside due to the hot weather that we've been experiencing so early on ....Which means more imaginative playing is going on :) Look how cute they are taking care of their babies. Maybe its time for another one?? (or maybe not)
We've also been playing in the pool, thanks to Skylar's cousin who lets us come over and enjoy their awesome pool.
We've decided to give Chase a real boy haircut for the hot summer months. Just look how grown up he looks with all of his hair gone. I absolutely love him! He turned 18 months old this month and isn't quite sure about nursery. Hopefully he'll get better as time goes on. He does normal boy things and can say so many words and is starting to combined words together. I don't know what I would do with out my busy boy.
Along with playing, swimming, and haircuts, the flu bug hit our home, so there's been lots of sleeping going on in our home as well. Poor Chase wasn't feeling well when I took this picture
But luckily everyone got better so we could hang out at the movie theater. We went and saw the Lorax. FYI, this was Chase's first movie, he did as well as I expected. I'll just put it this way, he's not quite ready for the movies. It was a lot of work!! But Chandlar did so good and loved being there and out of the house. Thanks Megan for the invite, we had a blast!
And to end the month we went to Lakeside for my nieces high school graduation (can't believe I have another niece all grown up and on her own) and Memorial Day.
Here's Chase at Gma's & Gpa's Webb's being silly with some dress up shoes (don't ask...all I can say is he has a girly girl as a sister, and sees her too many times with these things on...haha).
And here is Chandlar riding the twister with her cousin. She has so much fun at Grandma and Grandpa Webb's house. She is so smart and beautiful! She is becoming such a great helper at home and I can already tell that she will be a great mom! Her motherly instincts come out when Chase gets hurt or is crying about something. I love how good she is with her younger sibling. Chandlar will be 4 this year, and I'm looking forward for her to start some kind of pre-school. I've been working with her on some of her letters and numbers and she loves it! That just shows me that she is ready for pre-school. I can't believe how big she is! She is wonderful!
So that is how our Month of May looked like. We are so excited for more summer fun!
