June 2011
Where in the world did June go?? I guess we have been enjoying ourselves too much to care. We have started our summer off great! Lots of time playing in the water hose while Chase is napping. And lots of tea parties inside escaping from the heat. We also had the chance to visit some family in Utah over fathers day weekend! Our month of June was busy as ever but we still had a blast! I don't know about you but this summer is flying by too fast.

Memorial Day Weekend
Boy did we have a blast during the Memorial Day Weekend! We had the pleasure of coming along with the Eich family to a camp out. The kids did great and by the look of things I think we all had a wonderful time.
Day 1:
We woke up early Friday morning and headed our way to meet up with the rest of the crew at the camp ground. It was a little windy that day but nothing we weren't use to. We ended up just setting things up and relaxing for most of the day.
Day 2:
It was a little more windy on Saturday but that didn't stop us from playing and having a good day. The family set up some fun olympic games for us to play! Each family had their own little "Flag" to represent. It was a blast to watch the kids get into as well as the adults making fools out of themselves. haha! It was fun to say the least. I think we all enjoyed all the laughs from the events. I wish I had gotten some photos of the tug of war event with adults. Now that was funny....long story short, the rope ended up breaking and all the adults when down like dominos....everyone was busting a gut and luckily no one got hurt to badly.
Day 3:
Sunday the wind was just unbearable. I don't think anyone really stepped out of their trailer. By late morning we all decided to pack up and head into town. Skylar, the kids and I headed to Show Low to spend some time with my family. We were glad to be out of the crazy wind.
Day 4:
Monday it was time for us to go home but before we left we went over to G&G Godfrey's for a Birthday Breakfast for Grandpa Godfrey. We had yummy crepes and enjoyed every bite!! Happy Birthday Grandpa Godfrey! It was a nice ending to our little trip!
Thanks to all of those who made this trip possible for us!! Heather, thank you for the help with food and snacks. Thank you to my mom and dad for letting us use your trailer, and a big thanks to Joe and Kristina for inviting us to come.

Easter 11'
Its always nice to spend some family time up on the Mountain, so that is exactly what we did this year for Easter. The Kids and Skylar and I really enjoyed ourselves even though the wind blew like crazy!! We arrived at Grandma and Grandpa Webb's place Saturday at noon. Chandlar loves going to grandma Webb's and playing and playing until her hearts content! She had a blast with some of her cousins coloring easter eggs, and Chase just chilled with the men while the girls supervised the egg coloring. It was a nice evening and we were ALL tired when the day was over.
Easter Morning we woke up and had some yummy biscuits and gravy for breakfast and then we got ready for Church. Visiting my parents ward is always interesting but its nice to see familiar faces that I grew up with. It was a nice day beside the wind. After church Chandlar fell asleep in the car on the way home so we didn't get any pictures of her in her cute Easter dress but eventually we did ( a week later) but while she was sleeping we snapped a few of Chase in his Easter attire. He is such a handsome and loving little boy! I failed to get any pictures of the kids together or us as a family, which I am bummed about, but there is always next year. Anyway.... afterward we went to my older sisters home and had the tradition Easter dinner. It was delicious as always. Once we were stuffed we headed back home! It was a quick but fun trip!
